Painted Mule

The New Hope Ivyland Railroad is a shortline railroad that was originally part of the North-East Pennsylvania Railroad and then as the New Hope Branch of the Reading Company.  The railroad still operates between the towns of New Hope and Ivyland, from the 1891 station in New Hope.  The line still works to keep the 1925 Baldwin steam engine running along with other vintage diesel electric locomotives.  Not all rail lines have been able to maintain operation as a tribute to the era.  But their imprint on the land is being turned to good purpose.  A percentage of profits from the sale of this collection will go to the Rails-to-Trails Conservancy.
